The predicted salary is between 13 - 13 £ per hour.

We are hiring seasonal support staff to help during our busy period. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who, ideally, can start from 9 March 2026 and work through to the first week in September 2026.

This is a temporary position with these shifts available:

  • Dayshift (36 hours) - working 0600–1400 Monday to Thursday, and 0600–1200 Friday.
  • Backshift (36 hours) – working 1400 to 0000 Monday to Wednesday, 1400 to 2200 Thursday.

The rate of pay is £13.08 per hour, increasing to £13.45 per hour from 1 May 2026.

About the Role

As a Production Operative at Johnstons of Elgin, you will support key stages of our manufacturing process, including inspection preparation, fringe folding, and cutting and laying products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career, as full training is provided and the tasks can be learned quickly.
