We are currently recruiting for a Dyehouse Operative to join our busy team in Elgin. This is a full time, permanent post working an average of 38 hours a week over a three-shift rotation (early, back and night shifts). Rate of pay for this role is £13.45 per hour, plus shift pay allowance.
About the Role
As a Dyehouse Operative here at Johnstons of Elgin, you will be operating machinery to weigh, dye and dry fibres. You will have a keen eye for detail, making sure colours and quantities are accurate. As part of the role, you will be working to a busy schedule, with manual handling tasks and heavy lifting required. Due to some of the equipment used, this role is not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker.

Previous experience working in a factory environment or operating machinery is desirable but not essential. Full training for the role will be provided.
