JGas has been delivering bulk LPG since 1985, distributing to domestic and business customers right across Scotland and parts of England & Wales. In our business, you cannot be a fair-weather supplier. Thousands of homes depend on us to keep warm, and it is when conditions are at their worst that we are most needed. JGas is a highly successful business that places its people at the heart of the organisation.

Due to a period of growth, we are now looking to take on a full-time LPG Engineer to cover our operational areas in the South of England and South Wales.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To carry out installation tasks in a safe manner to ACS qualification standards
  • The installation of bulk LPG storage vessels
  • The installation of associated LPG external service pipework
  • Testing and commissioning of installations
  • Issue all relevant certification required to sign off installation
  • Annual maintenance and inspection of installations
  • Periodic inspections of LPG vessels
  • Installations include domestic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, multiple consumers covering both vapour and liquid installations
  • Provide on-call assistance through our 24HR emergency line
  • Providing quality workmanship and following all JGas H&S requirements whilst on the job
  • Travelling will be required to cover our operational areas
  • Overnights away from home will be required on occasion, depending on work demand

To be successful in the role, you:

  • Must have ACS Gas Qualification in LPG
  • Must be highly competent (and confident) in trade skills
  • Must have a full UK drivers license
  • Should have evidence of previous trade roles
  • Should have additional LPG industry qualifications
