We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to join our busy HR Operations team within the wider People Experience function. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing high-quality administrative, operational and project support across the full employee lifecycle. Acting as a key point of contact for colleagues across the firm, the HR Coordinator will provide timely and accurate guidance, help manage day-to-day and more complex queries with support from the appropriate People Experience specialist, and contribute to a responsive and consistent employee experience. Working collaboratively with the wider team, you will help deliver smooth, efficient HR processes, support annual cyclical activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR Operations.
Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing clear, accurate and timely guidance on HR policies, procedures, benefits and related matters.
- Maintain accurate employee records in Workday, ensuring data is up to date, compliant and handled with appropriate confidentiality.
- Support employees with benefits enrolment, changes and general benefits‐related enquiries.
- Coordinate key employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, contractual documentation, system access, induction support and offboarding processes.
- Produce standard HR reports and metrics to support decision‐making, planning and operational delivery.
- Work closely with People Experience colleagues and key stakeholder teams to resolve queries, ensure consistent responses and identify opportunities to improve processes and communications.
- Help maintain clear, accessible HR guidance and knowledge resources, ensuring colleagues have the information they need to resolve queries efficiently and consistently.
- Support HR projects and the successful delivery of annual cyclical activities across the People Experience function.
About You
- Relevant experience in an HR Coordinator or similar role, ideally gained within a busy HR Operations environment in a similar sized business.
- CIPD qualified, working towards CIPD qualification, or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Experience using Workday would be advantageous.
- Strong problem‐solving skills, sound judgement and the confidence to take initiative.
- Clear and professional communication, both in writing and verbally.
- Strong customer‐service mindset and a genuine desire to provide a positive employee experience.
- Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable working to deadlines.
- Confidence building effective relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent attention to detail and take pride in delivering accurate, high‐quality work.
