Responsibilities
- Ensure all statutory deadlines are met for our company secretarial clients.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Onboard new clients to our systems and do a full health check to ensure no discrepancies, resolving with client relationship managers or directly with clients.
- Coordinate statutory and regulatory filings including any associated minutes for example director appointments, share transfers, confirmation statements and PSC registers.
- Together with the existing management coaching, support and review of work prepared by more junior members of the team.
- Provide company formation services.
- Provide support for more ad hoc complex corporate services such as share capital restructures, outsourcing where necessary.
- Ensure statutory registers are kept up-to-date.
- Monitor Companies House daily (through alerts) to ensure nothing is filed without our knowledge, highlighting to client relationship managers where so and resolving.
- Monitor use of our registered office addresses.
- Ensure firm company secretarial processes are being followed and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor recovery of company secretarial services and challenge where not meeting target recovery.
- Responsibility for billing clients and debt management.
Qualifications
- Experience in a company secretarial role is essential, preferably in a legal/professional services environment.
- Ability to manage your own workloads and professional learning.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting changing needs and priorities.
