We are looking to recruit a Company Secretarial Advisor / Senior – (Paralegal) to help deliver corporate compliance obligations to our large and diverse client base.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all statutory deadlines are met for our company secretarial clients
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Onboard new clients to our systems and conduct a full health check to ensure no discrepancies, resolving with client relationship managers or directly with clients
  • Coordinate statutory and regulatory filings including minutes for items such as director appointments, share transfers, confirmation statements and PSC registers
  • Support and review work prepared by more junior team members in conjunction with management coaching
  • Provide company formation services
  • Support ad hoc complex corporate services such as share capital restructures and outsourcing where necessary
  • Ensure statutory registers are kept up-to-date
  • Monitor Companies House alerts to ensure filings are known to the team, and highlight issues to client relationship managers with resolution
  • Monitor use of registered office addresses
  • Ensure firm company secretarial processes are followed and make recommendations for improvement
  • Monitor recovery of company secretarial services and challenge when targets are not being met
  • Billing and debt management responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Experience in a company secretarial role is essential, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
  • Ability to manage own workloads and pursue professional learning
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to positively influence others
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing needs and priorities
