We are looking for an Audit Senior/Supervisor to join our Financial Services Audit team. The team is largely based in Scotland, with opportunities to work in North of England and London.
Job Purpose
Recruit an Audit professional to manage day‑to‑day audit work, flag issues early, train Assistants, meet deadlines and budgets, and present a substantially complete file for review.
Responsibilities
- Complete or oversee audit planning documentation
- Arrange timing of audit work with the Audit Manager
- Plan, schedule, and delegate work to Assistants, ensuring complex work is completed promptly
- Brief, train and debrief Assistants, providing formal feedback as required
- Build effective relationships with client staff
- Monitor budgeted vs actual time, flag scope issues, fieldwork issues and overruns to the Audit Manager
- Keep client staff informed of progress and issues while maintaining confidentiality
About You
- Qualified CA (or equivalent) and above; part‑qualified candidates may be considered if experienced
- Ability to build strong client, contact and colleague relationships
- Excellent organisational skills and proactive approach
- Relevant experience in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication skills and influence others positively
- A leader of your own work and professional learning
