We are looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist or Senior Payroll Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and take overall responsibility in ensuring all payroll matters are handled with great care and in full compliance with all aspects of legislation whilst maintaining a positive relationship with each payroll stakeholder. Location is flexible for this role, but candidates should be within commuting distance of our Aberdeen or Edinburgh office.

Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll, including complex payroll scenarios and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current payroll and taxation legislation
  • Administer auto-enrolment processes, including re-enrolment
  • Conduct data analysis using strong Excel skills
  • Organise and prioritise tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external clients
  • Manage client expectations and promptly resolve any payroll-related issues

About You

  • A leader of your work and your professional learning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
  • Previous experience of working Pay Circle payroll software would be advantageous, although not essential
  • Relevant experience in this or a similar role is preferred
