We are currently recruiting a Service Delivery Driver to deliver and return stock to the plant. To comply with transport industry legal structure and provide excellent customer service.
Key Tasks
- Load vehicle and off-load into designated areas
- Ensure the sufficient supply of sundry items i.e. repair labels, bags etc.
- Collect/deliver items, load/empty lockers, exchange dust control mats as shown on documentation
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
- Establish and maintain good Customer relations and act as liaison between Customer and Company
- Forward queries and keep managers, supervisors and colleagues informed as necessary
- Obtain signatures and keep accurate records where required
- Other Ad hoc duties as required.
Person Specification
- You must have an up-to-date CPC card and Tacho card preferable recent 3.5T + multidrop experience.
- Full UK Driving License (Required)
- Successful applicant would need to comply with transport industry legal structure, i.e. use of tachograph, be aware of legal breaks, and have excellent customer service skills.
Please note this is a physically demanding job Loading and unloading 5kg bags, 15kg hamper sacks, or by wheeling a full cage, which may weigh max of 100kg cage, into customers premises.
