We are currently seeking a Stockroom Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operation of the stockroom, ensuring stock availability, effective resource management and the secure control of goods to meet customer requirements and business targets. This role is well suited to someone with excellent organisational and leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high standards of stock control and customer service.

The role involves:

  • Overseeing stockroom operations and coordinating installations.
  • Ensuring stock levels are maintained to support customer requirements and operational performance.
  • Preparing all new customer accounts for installation in line with customer agreements.
  • Purchasing products from approved suppliers at the best available prices while ensuring goods meet required quality standards.
  • Checking deliveries against delivery notes and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Holding weekly meetings with the Customer Service Office Manager and General Manager to review installation progress and ensure installations are completed on time and charged correctly.
  • Maximising the effective use of returned and reusable stock items.
  • Maintaining sufficient stock levels to meet operational requirements whilst ensuring stockholding values remain within agreed targets.
  • Ensuring the security, organisation and accurate control of stock held within the stockroom at all times.
  • Managing stockroom resources and supporting team members to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to support the wider operation.
