We are currently seeking a Credit Control Administrator to support the effective management of customer accounts and the sales ledger. This role is responsible for ensuring customers settle their accounts in line with agreed terms, while helping the business achieve its 'weeks outstanding' targets. As a Credit Control Administrator, you will play a key role within the finance function, maintaining accurate records and supporting cash flow through effective credit control processes.
Responsibilities
- Completing daily banking activities, including posting and allocating payments
- Processing credit notes and one-off manual invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Sorting and processing direct sales paperwork
- Completing monthly write-offs in line with company procedures
- Emailing invoices and obtaining monthly purchase orders from customers where required
- Chasing outstanding payments and liaising with service representatives and management to resolve non-payment issues
- Maintaining accurate records within the sales ledger
- Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to support the wider finance team
