We are seeking an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License to join our Johnson's team in our South London location. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high valued artwork. You'll be part of a team delivering a premium service, loading and unloading, ensuring great care is put into the safe journey of our client's valued items and your colleagues.

Requirements

  • Enhanced Criminal Record Check.
  • HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (essential)
  • Team leading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Digital Tacho Driver Card (essential)
  • CSCS Green Card (preferred)
  • Drivers Qualification Card (CPC) (essential)
  • Knowledge of established legal tachograph procedures (essential)
  • ADR - Packages (preferred)

Daily Responsibilities

  • Vehicle daily checks of your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t /3.5t vehicle
  • Ensuring the vehicle is equipped with all the relevant specialist equipment required for the day's operation
  • Lifting and packing a range of office furniture, soft furnishings, hardware, fine art, etc.
  • Taking goods in or out of storage
  • Lifting and moving loads in excess of 25kg
  • Ensuring the highest of standards are met when on site
  • Responsible for your health and safety or you and colleagues
  • Always deliver excellent customer care and service
  • Working as an integral team member during Larger Specialist Projects including Laboratory and Executive Office relocations
  • Complying with all company and health and safety procedures
