Permanent We are looking to recruit a Senior Driver/Supervisor for our team at Johnsons Hotel linen based at our South Mimms Depot The shifts are 12 hours on a 4 on 4 off pattern with variable start times. The Role: provide emergency driver cover when needed, hold HGV Class 2 with up-to-date cards. assist with duty cover in the absence of the Depot Manager. ensure vehicles are despatched at the correct time. maintain accurate record keeping and processing of paperwork. have a good basic knowledge of computer use including emails, excel and word. assist with Inductions and on-going training for employees. carry out and record daily vehicle safety checks, reporting any defects or other maintenance. work within the company guidelines on productivity and efficiency. assist with Loading and unloading vehicles as required. assist the Depot Manager to ensure good housekeeping, maintenance of the vehicles, site risk assessments, and accident reduction analysis. maintain confidentiality of Company and Customer business. foster and maintain good working relations with colleagues. conduct any reasonable requests made by management including ad hoc duties as required.
