At Johnsons Hotel Linen we are looking for full time Technical Cleaners to work within our laundry facility. It’s a dynamic place to work, at the heart of our business and alongside a friendly team.

Shifts: 4 on 4 off pattern days & nights

The Technical Cleaner reports directly to the Head of Engineering and will be a valued member of the Engineering Department. The Technical Cleaner is required to comply with reasonable requests to conduct his or her duties which may include, but are not limited to:

  • To perform low maintenance tasks e.g. changing light bulbs, unblocking drains, toilet breakages, cleaning of minor spillages and to ensure that the main entrance and site is kept clean and tidy at all times;
  • Painting and decorating as agreed by management;
  • Reporting of breakdowns/faults;
  • To carry out routine cleaning checks on plant and equipment to ensure optimum conditions are achieved;
  • Undertake duties in winter maintenance schedule;
  • To liaise with Head of Engineering and management on a day-to-day basis regarding the running of the building and site reporting any issues relating to appearance or operation difficulties;
  • Cleaning of any ironer, towel folding or other garment processing equipment;
  • Assisting with the storage and packing of finished goods;
  • Helping with other general duties within the production facility which may include cleaning, the removal of waste and other general cleaning and other duties on site;
  • Training will be provided, and it is the duty of each employee to report to the Manager any requirements for training should be asked to undertake a task for which you do not believe they have been trained to conduct.

The above list is not exhaustive, and all employees are required to undertake any reasonable task required in order to ensure the smooth running of the production facility.
