Candidate Requirements & Responsibilities
- Enjoy driving HGV and providing excellent customer service.
- Be the face of Johnsons and hold a valid Category C licence, CPC card, and Tacho card.
- Assist with distribution of linen from the Birmingham laundry facility as a Class 2 HGV driver.
- Delivery and collection of clean and soiled linen.
- Unload vehicles on return to the depot.
- Collect soiled linen lists and hand into the service office.
- Record delivery times/windows and secure signatures on delivery notes.
- Maintain daily communication with customers and the office.
- Liaise regularly with the Transport Manager.
- Uniform and PPE are provided.
Shift Pattern & Requirements
- Flexible shift patterns with start times between 3 am and 12 pm.
- Must have a digital tacho card, class C driving license, and be fully CPC qualified.
- Experience in customer-facing, multi-drop roles preferred.
- Willing to work weekends and be flexible with working hours.
