We are expanding our driving team and are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and professional trainee coaches to join the Johnsons family.
Job & Training
Coach driving is a professional vocation that involves transporting passengers of all ages to varied destinations while providing excellent customer service. The training programme includes medical screening, category D provisional licence application, theory and hazard perception tests, and practical lessons, culminating in obtaining a PCV licence. You will receive a contract of employment with guaranteed hours and be paid from day one of training.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely to their destinations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate effectively in English.
- Complete all theory, hazard perception and practical training to meet PCV licence standards.
- Adhere to company safety and operational procedures during the first year of coaching under the guidance of the Training Team.
Requirements
- Enjoy driving and meeting new people.
- Have no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- Proficient in communicating, with a good understanding of the English language as you will be speaking to customers daily.
- Smart and presentable, as you will be the face of our business.
