Johnson\'s Cars is a leading independent Franchise Dealership Network in the UK, with 53 multi-award-winning dealerships across the country. Established in 1999, we represent a variety of global car manufacturers with 15 marques including Volkswagen, Skoda, Seat, Hyundai, Ford, Honda, Suzuki, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Mazda. We are seeking a Technician at our Skoda dealership in Wolverhampton. Basic Salary between Β£28,000 and Β£32,000 with a realistic OTE of up to Β£50,000.
Role And Responsibilities
- To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard to meet company and franchise requirements
- Measure, test and diagnose vehicle faults
- Repair diagnosed vehicles, replace parts, lubricants and consumables
- Record all service and repair operations as required by the company and the manufacturer
- Work in a safe and professional manner, operating to health and safety standards
- Identify additional work and maintenance requirements on vehicles using an established EVHC process
The Ideal Candidate
- Be qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
- Have previous experience working in a Technician or mechanic role
- Ideally hold a valid MOT testing qualification (preferable but not essential)
- Take responsibility for the safety, standard and quantity of their work
- Hold a full UK driving licence
