Job Description
As People Co-Ordinator youwill provide first class HR support across the Johnsonβs group. First and foremost, youwill be a great administrator. Organised, excellent attention to detail and capableof managing a busy, varied workload. You will also ideally have previousexperience working in a busy HR team.
This is a part time position of 22.5 hours per week over 4 days. A priority will be foryou to manage the day-to-day HR admin & recruitment needs for one ofJohnsons biggest business units as well as get involved in working on a rangeof HR projects and initiatives.
- Manage all HR adminincluding offers, contracts, on-boarding, exit and in-life changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR system
- Conduct right to work,pre-employment, background, and security checks
- Placejob adverts on job boards and with agency partners and undertake initialshortlisting
- Agreerole requirements and selection process with hiring manager, organiseinterviews & notify unsuccessful applicants
- Assistwith the smooth induction of new starters β including the completion of newstarter forms
- Communicatedetails of new starters to colleagues to ensure facilities and IT equipment areavailable for Day 1
- Explain and enrol new starters inend of probation company benefits (PMI, Life Assurance and Pension Scheme)
- Carry out end of month check-in withnew starters & managers
- Ensure end ofprobation reviews take place & escalate any concerns to People Partner
- Manage monthly payrollreporting, ensuring the submission is accurate & on time
- Set up and administeremployee benefits including carrying out maternity interviews and maintainingcontact with colleagues while off on maternity leave
- Assistwith maintaining training and development records when staff attend training
- Providing basic HRguidance and advice to employees and managers (i.e. policy, best practice,benefits, sickness, time off, payroll, maternity/paternity)
Requirements
Confident, approachable,and passionate about providing a great HR service. Previous adminexperience in either a HR, payroll or recruitment admin role in a fast-paced,multi-site environment. Very organised and ableto prioritise own workload. Used to meetingdeadlines and getting back to people in a timely manner. Confident communicating. Has a keen eye fordetail and takes responsibility for ensuring information which is shared isaccurate and tells a clear story. Confident user of MSOffice packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook. Confident user of HRsystem ideally Cezanne. Flexible, team player.
