Overview As People Co-Ordinator you will provide first class HR support across the Johnson\’s group. First and foremost, you will be a great administrator. Organised, excellent attention to detail and capable of managing a busy, varied workload. You will also ideally have previous experience working in a busy HR team. This is a part time position of 22.5 hours per week over 4 days. £18,000 part time salary. A priority will be for you to manage the day-to-day HR admin & recruitment needs for one of Johnsons biggest business units as well as get involved in working on a range of HR projects and initiatives.Responsibilities Manage all HR admin including offers, contracts, on-boarding, exit and in-life changesMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR systemConduct right to work, pre-employment, background, and security checksPlace job adverts on job boards and with agency partners and undertake initial shortlistingAgree role requirements and selection process with hiring manager, organise interviews & notify unsuccessful applicantsAssist with the smooth induction of new starters – including the completion of new starter formsCommunicate details of new starters to colleagues to ensure facilities and IT equipment are available for Day 1Explain and enrol new starters in end of probation company benefits (PMI, Life Assurance and Pension Scheme)Carry out end of month check-in with new starters & managersEnsure end of probation reviews take place & escalate any concerns to People PartnerManage monthly payroll reporting, ensuring the submission is accurate & on timeSet up and administer employee benefits including carrying out maternity interviews and maintaining contact with colleagues while off on maternity leaveAssist with maintaining training and development records when staff attend trainingProvide basic HR guidance and advice to employees and managers (policy, best practice, benefits, sickness, time off, payroll, maternity/paternity)Requirements Confident, approachable, and passionate about providing a great HR servicePrevious admin experience in either a HR, payroll or recruitment admin role in a fast-paced, multi-site environmentVery organised and able to prioritise own workloadUsed to meeting deadlines and getting back to people in a timely mannerConfident communicatingHas a keen eye for detail and takes responsibility for ensuring information which is shared is accurate and tells a clear storyConfident user of MS Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & OutlookConfident user of HR system ideally CezanneFlexible, team playerBenefits Pension SchemeLife insuranceNHS Discount SchemeEqual Opportunity Statement All aspects of employment including the decision to hire, promote, discipline, or discharge, will be based on merit, competence, performance, and business needs.
