Are you an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License? Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Class 2 Driver who is hardworking and resilient. Your responsibilities will include delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high-value artwork. You will be part of a team providing a premium service, ensuring the safe journey of our clients' valued items and supporting your colleagues. This role offers the opportunity to travel throughout the UK and Europe, with excellent promotion prospects within Johnsons 1871.

Requirements:
- Enhanced Criminal Record Check: You will be required to undertake an 'Enhanced Criminal Record Check' or 'Baseline Security Check'. Please inform us at your application stage if you believe there may be an issue with these requirements.
Skills, Qualifications, and Licences:
- HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (essential)
- Team leading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
- CSCS Green Card (preferred)
- Knowledge of established legal tachograph procedures (essential)
- ADR Packages (preferred)
Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle daily checks on your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t/3.5t vehicle
- Ensure the vehicle is equipped with all necessary specialist equipment for daily operations
- Lift and pack a variety of items including office furniture, soft furnishings, hardware, fine art, etc.
- Manage goods in and out of storage
- Lift and move loads exceeding 25kg
- Maintain high standards on site
- Take responsibility for your health and safety, as well as your colleagues'
- Deliver excellent customer care and service
- Work as part of a team during larger specialist projects, including laboratory and executive office relocations
- Comply with all company and health and safety procedures
As a Class 2 Driver, you'll start with a daily rate of £150-£160 depending on experience. Benefits include incentives, Employee Discount Scheme, Healthcare, Death in Service cover after 3 months, and 23+8 days of holiday.
Additional Criminal Record Check Information: You will need to provide three years of address and employment history, valid ID, and a character reference for the check. Please inform us if there are any issues with these requirements at your application stage.
