Job Description
We are seeking Fitters of office furniture who possess a valid driving licence.
At Johnsons Installation Services, we specialize in providing bespoke furniture fit-outs for a variety of sectors. This is a Zero hours contract role.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Moving office furniture and other items to new premises or storage
- Working in small to large teams
- Driving vehicles as permitted by your license
- Handling technical aspects of decommissioning and commissioning furniture, including installation
- Maintaining compliance with all company policies and legislation
- Training and developing team members in furniture installation, emphasizing best practices, quality, and standards
- Promoting company core values and standards
- Assisting in managing external contractors during installations
- Protecting property to ensure service quality
- Handling office removals or relocations
- Managing goods in and out of storage
Requirements
Daily tasks:
- Flexible working hours as required
- Safely packaging items for removal or storage
- Wrapping and protecting furniture as needed
- Dismantling larger furniture items for packing and removal
- Packing, loading, and securing furniture in vehicles
- Ensuring all goods are secure before transport
- Driving to new locations, unloading, and installing furniture as per scope
