The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.
Working on behalf of a prestigious client, based in Staghills Nursery School, Lancashire, you will be required to support the cleaning and infection control requirements of the School. This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months (Jan 2026 - Jan 2027).
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- A methodical approach to cleaning that is organised, efficient and thorough.
- The ability to work well independently, and lead a team.
- Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
- A positive and approachable manner.
- Good numeracy and literacy.
- Physical abilities, including being able to work on your feet for long periods of time, as the job may involve lifting, reaching and bending.
- Adaptability to change and a willingness to adopt new processes and ideas.
- The ability to deliver quality work and to work unsupervised.
- A knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations relating to the role.
- It is desirable to have a British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICs) Licence to Practice, or BICs skills training.
- Demonstrate a commitment to work within Johnson's 1871 Ltd Core Values.
- To attend and fully participate in training courses.
- To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
- Fulfil all reasonable management requests and liaise and support with colleagues to create flexible working relationships working towards the same objectives.
Requirements: You must be able to act on your own initiative, be enthusiastic and committed to the role. Holidays are not permitted during term time.
