Johnsons UK Services Limited is seeking a Workplace Team Leader (WPTL) for a prestigious site in Lincoln, United Kingdom. This pivotal role involves taking full responsibility for leading the cleaning provision and managing a team of up to 10 cleaning operatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for employee concerns and build strong working relationships.
- Complete site-specific documentation and undertake weekly audits on behalf of the cleaning service.
- Work flexibly across shifts to provide support to the team.
- Ensure essential weekly documents are completed on site.
- Control, monitor, and manage materials and consumables, submitting orders in a timely manner.
- Liaise and support colleagues to create flexible working relationships.
- Ensure equipment and cleaning areas are kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition.
- Report machinery faults and replacements immediately to the Workplace Services Manager.
Client Engagement:
- Liaise with clients and monitor site delivery, ensuring regular and appropriate communication.
- Investigate and rectify client complaints and concerns swiftly, escalating to the Workplace Services Manager where required.
Team Engagement:
- Maintain high standards of conduct and performance for yourself and the cleaning team.
- Plan cover across shifts when necessary, communicating effectively with the team.
- Ensure staffing levels are maintained when supporting sickness at short notice.
- Support the recruitment process within Johnsons’ delivery management team.
- Complete new starter documentation and share with your Workplace Services Manager.
Requirements:
- The role may require you to undertake greater hours than the contracted amount.
- Monday to Friday - 07:30am to 15:30pm. Ability to cover shifts over a 24-hour period is required.
