Johnsons UK Services Limited is excited to offer a new opportunity for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to join our team. We’re looking for someone who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing deals. If you’re commercially minded, proactive, and motivated by results, you could be the perfect fit to help us grow our wide range of services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within defined sectors
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building
  • Support and motivate sales development to drive revenue growth
  • Follow up on leads generated by marketing and lead generation teams
  • Develop and manage effective contact networks and strategic partnerships
  • Work closely within internal teams, including Estimating and Account Management, to ensure timely responses and client satisfaction
  • Accurately forecast and report on sales performance
  • Maintain CRM records, update dashboards and contribute to performance reports
  • Maintain a positive, professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
  • Offer product and service expertise, confidently addressing customer queries

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong B2B sales background, ideally with experience across multiple product or service lines
  • Proven experience in account management and growing client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and face-to-face
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and MS Office applications
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with a proactive attitude
  • Comfortable communicating to all levels and be flexible enough for client entertainment outside of working hours
  • This role requires nationwide travel, therefore a driving license is required
  • Minimum 3 years in sales roles
  • Minimum 1 year in account management
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in cross-selling or multi-product environments
