As a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.

The role:

  • Working both alone and with leadership support, identifying, facilitating, and project managing continuous improvement projects throughout the business.
  • To ensure that the safety and well-being of yourself and your colleagues and the constraints of our Regulatory permits and licences are given priority over all else in your area of contribution.
  • To support and develop production systems, both digital and physical.
  • Implement data analysis and visualisation tools including Tableau & PowerBI.
  • Deliver coaching on data management strategies and foundation lean tools to all levels of the organisation to create a culture of continuous improvement meeting our Operational Excellence requirements.
  • Analyse production data to identify opportunity within the organisation.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • Continuous Improvement activity experience within workplace environment.
  • A degree in Manufacturing Systems, Engineering, Science or similar or relevant experience.
  • Experience of using a problem-solving process using proven root cause analysis would be an advantage.
  • Experience or education in IT systems commonly used in Operations and Management environments would be advantageous.
  • Experience of deploying improvement projects and managing the process through to completion.
