As a Entry Level Operator ,you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.**The role:**As a Operator I: Entry Level Operator you will help drive our goals by:* Take responsibility for personal safety by following JM’s safe working practices, PPE guidelines, and contributing to a safe, healthy work environment, including reporting incidents and unsafe conditions.* Follow all relevant process documentation (e.g., risk analyses, process instructions, standard work) and complete batch sheets and handovers to ensure smooth, continuous production.* Support operations by performing skilled operator tasks, adhering to production schedules, conducting basic preventative maintenance, and carrying out duties as directed by the Production Lead.* Drive continuous improvement by upholding 5S standards, collaborating with team members, suggesting process improvements, participating in failure investigations, and identifying plant reliability issues.**Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:*** Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 4 GCSEs (A\*-C) including English, Maths, and Science* 2 A-Levels (or equivalent) in engineering or science and experience in chemical, engineering, or manufacturing fields are beneficial but not required* Should understand large-scale manufacturing facilities and the importance of EHS* Must demonstrate strong safety focus, teamwork, positive attitude, motivation, attention to detail, and commitment to learning* Requires strong communication skills, flexibility, integrity, and the ability to work accurately, efficiently, and meet deadlines***Due to the nature of this role applicants must be non-smokers and have been free from nicotine products for at least 3 months***Even if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!**What we offer:**We make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
