Join us to accelerate the transition to net‐zero by delivering strategic communication and engagement during our global transformation initiatives. The role will help build understanding, alignment, and engagement across the organization.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver communication plans for priority projects within the Change Delivery Hub, defining objectives, audiences, messages and timelines.
  • Create compelling messaging and materials, including talking points, articles, videos, leader packs and townhall content, to support awareness and adoption.
  • Partner with Project Sponsors, Leads and Change Leads to ensure communication activity supports project outcomes and aligns with Johnson Matthey's transformation strategy.
  • Measure the effectiveness of communication activities using surveys, pulse checks and feedback tools, adjusting plans where needed.
  • Contribute to the Change Framework and capability building, sharing best practices, tools and lessons learned across the change and communications community.
  • Align project communication approaches with the overall communication strategy and key messaging for wider enterprise transformation and functional change initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education and/or equivalent experience in internal communication, organisational change or transformation.
  • Strong communication skills, including exceptional writing, editing and storytelling capabilities.
  • Proven experience delivering communication and engagement activities in fast‐paced, complex environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organisation, building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with modern communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Yammer).
