Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges – cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life‑saving technologies – by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.

The role

  • Partnering with the Global Chemicals & LST leadership teams to drive financial and operational performance across the business.
  • Leading forecasting, budgeting and performance management activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
  • Providing insight and challenge on business performance, using data‑driven analysis to identify risks, opportunities and improvement actions.
  • Driving integrated business planning processes and supporting decision‑making across cost, revenue and working capital initiatives.
  • Delivering robust financial evaluation and commercial insight for capital investment opportunities and strategic business decisions.
  • Leading and developing a Finance Business Partner, creating a high‑performing team that supports business growth and continuous improvement.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role

  • Professional accounting qualification, or equivalent experience, with significant post‑qualification finance experience.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic and operational decision‑making.
  • Strong analytical capability, including experience interpreting complex financial data and presenting clear recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, alongside excellent financial planning and forecasting expertise.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience supporting organisational change and business transformation.
  • Strong communication, commercial awareness and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues for a broad audience.
