As an Operator I Entry Level Operator, you will help drive our goals by:
- Receive, log and track all customer and internal jobs, collect workpapers, and complete workpaper, TrakSYS and CRS entries for reporting.
- Weigh materials in and out of process, flag weight discrepancies, process internal feed to plan, melt customer jobs to a homogeneous melt, and monitor furnace operation.
- Raise Query Trackers for quality or processing issues, work with technical teams and labs on sample results, troubleshooting, and quality investigations.
- Deliver material to other departments and take ownership of shop floor improvements and housekeeping.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels.
- Good IT skills with experience using common PC and business systems, plus strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and deliver practical solutions.
- Experience in training others and facilitating meetings is desirable.
This is a day-shift role with 12.5-hour shifts on a 5s/4s pattern. Due to the nature of this role applicants must be non-smokers and have been free from nicotine products for at least 3 months.
