As an Engineering Stores Technician, you'll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history and innovation. You'll help tackle the world's biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern society and enhancing lives.
The role:
- Own and maintain all Engineering stores procedures and policies.
- Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming maintenance spare parts.
- Ensure stock naming conventions are defined and adhered to allowing easy search of stock holdings.
- Organise Engineering store stock in a logical and accessible manner.
- Analyse stock holdings to ensure minimum re-order points are set to avoid occurrence of zero stocks.
- Issue spares promptly to maintenance personnel based on cost centres, work orders and reservations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for restocking and refurbishment orders.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- A minimum of 2 years industrial experience or 2 years of JM maintenance operations knowledge within Engineering Stores position.
- Working knowledge of Maintenance repair procedures related to evaluation of MRO components to determine the most economical means of repair or replacement.
- Capable of using SAP/SAP Plant Maintenance.
- Competent in all Microsoft 365 Applications.
- Experience of working in a MRO Store management role such as Stores technician, stores warehouse technician, inventory control or any parts auditing stock control role with similar responsibilities.
