As a Site Planner, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.

The role:

  • Project Planning & Scheduling
    • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across multiple CAPEX projects
    • Define clear timelines, critical paths, and key milestones aligned to delivery strategy
    • Ensure schedules are logically linked and aligned to project stage-gate processes
  • Project Controls & Performance Monitoring
    • Track progress against baseline plans and highlight deviations
    • Perform schedule analysis including critical path and look-ahead planning
    • Produce regular project reports on schedule performance and key risk
  • Risk & Change Management
    • Identify and manage schedule risks and opportunities across the portfolio
    • Support development of mitigation and recovery plans
    • Assess and manage schedule impacts arising from project changes within MOC processes
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with Project Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to align on delivery plans
    • Interface with contractors to ensure accurate and up-to-date schedule inputs
    • Facilitate planning reviews and progress meetings
  • Governance & Reporting
    • Support project governance aligned to JM stage-gate framework
    • Provide clear, structured reporting to stakeholders
    • Maintain high-quality planning data within project systems
  • Safety, Risk & Compliance
    • Promote a strong EHS culture and ensure planning supports safe execution
    • Ensure schedules reflect safe sequencing, permits, and operational constraints

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in project planning or project controls within CAPEX or engineering environments
  • Proficiency with planning tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Strong understanding of full project lifecycle delivery
  • Experience in chemical process, manufacturing, or COMAH environment
