The role
- Owning and continually improving JM’s Global Security Policy, Standards and site risk classification in line with the organisation’s risk appetite.
- Designing, maintaining and delivering a fit-for-purpose Level 2 security assurance programme across JM and relevant third‑party sites.
- Partnering with Group Security operations and business units to plan and conduct on‑site security assurance audits and assessments.
- Coordinating with Group Assurance and Risk teams to support the development, delivery and follow‑up of Level 3 security audits.
- Tracking, reporting and driving closure of actions arising from security assurance activity.
- Supporting global security programmes, including penetration testing, data governance, continuous improvement initiatives and training.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role
- Recognised qualification in Security, Business Management or a related discipline, supported by relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience identifying security risks, conducting security assurance or audit activity, and recommending pragmatic mitigation actions.
- Strong knowledge of physical, technical and procedural security controls and their effective implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed locations, with strong organisational skills.
- Experience working with security‑related data, reporting and analysis to support informed decision‑making.
- Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders across corporate and operational functions in a global environment.
