As a Analyst, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.**The role:**As an Analyst, you will help drive our goals by:* Ensuring all regulations regarding EHS and security are strictly observed.* Preparing samples for analysis submitted by approved procedure with due regard to required accuracy, precision, and delivery times.* Preparing standard stock solutions and calibration standards as required.* Ensuring Volumetric Flasks of completed Test samples are disposed of appropriately and consumables stocked to minimum levels.* Carrying out routine analysis/tests on samples.* Preparing samples for ICP-OES analysis by approved procedure with due regard to required accuracy, precision, and delivery times**Key skills that will help you succeed in this role****:*** Full Level 3 science qualification such as BTECH Diploma/ Extended Diploma in Applied Science or 2 A-levels in science / maths (ideally C or above). or Access to HE Diploma or equivalent. - Essential* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including at least grade C (grade 4) in English and Maths. - Essential* High level of numeracy, and attention to detail - Essential* Previous experience working in a laboratory environment - EssentialEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!**What we offer:**We make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
