The role: As a Production Department Manager, you will help drive our goals by:
- Overseeing and driving daily departmental performance, including managing the production team and coordinating support functions within a matrix management structure.
- Providing leadership in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to enhance processes, equipment, staff awareness, and training, ensuring continuous EHS improvements and alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Being responsible for overseeing the department's EHS performance.
- Ensuring that all corrective actions identified in incident reports within your areas of responsibility are appropriate, completed thoroughly, and within the established timelines.
- Fostering a 'quality first' approach and driving ongoing improvements in the quality output produced by the team.
- Contributing to and helping build robust processes based on Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
