Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Scheduling: develop and maintain integrated project schedules across multiple CAPEX projects, define clear timelines, critical paths and key milestones aligned to delivery strategy, and ensure schedules are logically linked to project stage‑gate processes.
- Project Controls & Performance Monitoring: track progress against baseline plans, highlight deviations, perform schedule analysis including critical path and look‑ahead planning, and produce regular project reports on schedule performance and key risk.
- Risk & Change Management: identify and manage schedule risks and opportunities across the portfolio, support mitigation and recovery plans, and assess and manage schedule impacts arising from project changes within MOC processes.
- Stakeholder Management: collaborate with Project Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to align on delivery plans, interface with contractors for accurate schedule inputs, and facilitate planning reviews and progress meetings.
- Governance & Reporting: support project governance aligned to JM stage‑gate framework and provide clear, structured reporting to stakeholders.
- Safety, Risk & Compliance: promote a strong EHS culture, ensure planning supports safe execution, and ensure schedules reflect safe sequencing, permits and operational constraints.
Qualifications
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project planning or project controls within CAPEX or engineering environments.
- Proficiency with planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Strong understanding of full project lifecycle delivery.
- Experience in chemical process, manufacturing or COMAH environment.
