Responsibilities
- Promote high environmental, health and safety standards and behaviours for self and co‑workers.
- Ensure work is carried out in line with relevant risk assessments (task‑based risk, COSHH, manual handling, etc.) for development work.
- Demonstrate initiative, innovation and creativity to deliver business objectives.
- Responsible for key technical work required for business development and improvement.
- Undertake Project Manager role for NPI Refining projects.
- Formulate Project Charters to efficiently address business needs ensuring that inputs are included from key stakeholders (Operations, Commercial and Supply Chain).
Qualifications
- MSc / BSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry or related discipline.
- Experience within a laboratory environment.
- Experience of EHS documents such as COSHH, manual handling, task‑based risk assessments.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills to the needs of the business.
- Ability to provide innovative solutions to problems.
