Responsibilities:
- Support the Maintenance team in executing Planned, Reactive & Corrective Instrumentation maintenance activities under supervision and mentoring guidance.
- Take responsibility for personal safety and comply with Johnson Matthey’s safe systems of work, including use of personal protective equipment.
- Cooperate and collaborate with team members to drive proactive engineering programmes; participate in failure investigations and report reliability issues within the plant.
- Carry out report writing using data to help Johnson Matthey understand machine issues.
- Complete an apprenticeship training programme that includes assignments and ownership of training and development plans, continually updating skills to reflect technology changes.
- Execute tasks directed by the Engineering Team Leader that contribute to required performance and competence levels.
- Adhere to Life Saving Policies and Management of Change procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) to Grade A*–C, including English, Maths and Science.
- Safety awareness.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
- Demonstrable interest in Engineering or practical subjects (no prerequisite experience required).
