Logistics operator

Job title: Logistics Operator Location: Royston At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. The role: As a Logistics Operator, you will help drive our goals by: • Operating all mobile plant and equipment safely (Counterbalance, Reach and Articulated forklift trucks) • Delivering material internally to production areas. • Carry out any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. • Maintaining levels of stock on IT programs specifically used with the stores department. • Receipt, storage and issue of production consumables from Stores. • Preparation and detailed checking of OSP/OSR shipments including supporting transport documentation. • Detailed checking of all waste transfer documentation for customer receipts (Amber, Green, Uk Hazardous & Non-Hazardous) Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: • Good level of literacy and numeracy (GCSE Grades A-C in Maths & English or equivalent) • Forklift truck license (counterbalance) • IT literate (Microsoft Office) Even if you only match some of the skills, we'd love to hear from you to discuss further!
