Location: UK, London Hub – 2 days from the office, 20% travel

Overview

You will apply, refine and recycle metals to promote a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Johnson Matthey’s global insurance programme, including renewals, procurement and policy oversight.
• Deliver the insurance strategy aligned to the organisation’s risk profile and business priorities.
• Act as the main point of contact for global insurance matters, building strong relationships with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee claims management processes, ensuring effective handling, governance and compliance.
• Coordinate insurance data, cost allocation, documentation and reporting to support business decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Risk and Resilience teams to assess exposures and optimise insurance coverage across the organisation.

Key Skills

• Demonstrable experience managing global insurance programmes within a complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across functions.
• Solid understanding of insurance principles and their alignment with risk and resilience strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities.
• Ability to analyse information, provide practical recommendations and drive implementation.
