At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Senior Cash and Foreign Exchange Manager, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history. Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges – cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life‑saving technologies – by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.
Responsibilities
- Lead global cash, liquidity and net debt reporting, providing clear insight to senior stakeholders.
- Own foreign exchange risk management, including governance forums and execution of hedging strategies.
- Support treasury activity for strategic transactions such as M&A, structural changes and shifts in currency exposure.
- Contribute to funding strategy, debt currency mix and interest rate risk management decisions.
- Prepare high‑quality Board and audit materials, including credit risk and dividend reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement across treasury systems, processes and controls, while acting as a trusted advisor to Group Finance.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a corporate or group treasury role with ownership of cash and liquidity management.
- Strong expertise in foreign exchange markets, hedging strategies and financial risk management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with experience using Bloomberg and treasury instruments.
- Proven ability to deliver clear, concise analysis for senior leadership and Board audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a global organisation.
- Analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to operate in a complex, multi‑currency environment.
