We are searching for the best talent for Privacy Manager whose primary responsibility is negotiating privacy/data protection contract terms and who will help Privacy build a Contracting Center of Excellence (COE) to reduce legal risk, speed contracting, and centralize privacy contracting expertise.
Responsibilities
- Hands‑on contract negotiation and redlining for all privacy‑related escalations from Procurement, Privacy, Legal, InfoSec, and the business.
- Design and build a contracting Center of Excellence (COE) that standardizes privacy language, maps global and regional (US, EMEA, ASPAC, LATAM) contracting data flows, supports legal research on global privacy requirements, and partners with business units to reduce risk and accelerate contracting.
- Lead day‑to‑day negotiation and redlining of privacy and data‑protection clauses across customer, vendor, SaaS, and commercial agreements.
- Support creation and operationalization of privacy contracting clause libraries, template agreements, SOPs, playbooks, and SLAs for privacy reviews.
- Conduct legal research and prepare concise internal guidance/memos on novel contracting/privacy issues and, when needed, elevate complex matters to Privacy Contracting leadership.
