The Commercial Excellence Analyst will be an integral part of the Ethicon Business Team helping to deliver profitable sales growth by providing analytics and insights into critical tender/framework and other commercial opportunities. These insights will guide and support the commercial decision making and strategy for Ethicon. You will work with a wide range of internal teams including Sales, Commercial, Marketing, IT and Finance and be responsible to craft, build and deliver the technical capabilities required to keep the business moving forwards.
Required Duties and Responsibilities:
- Calculation of the Commercial, Sales and Marketing team’s commissions accurately and produce on time in line with the Finance timetable.
- Support the Commercial, Sales and Marketing teams with ad hoc commercial analysis requirements.
- Support the Commex Manager/Lead with any adhoc analytical requirements.
- Set up territories and product mappings to ensure the correct reporting can be done through One Force and Hubble for UK & Ireland.
- Build relationships with and engage in the wider MD Commex Functions to share standard methodologies and align systems/tools/processes where relevant.
- Provide the data to handle contracts with the Commercial and Sales teams to ensure 100% compliance to spend/volume.
- Engage with and lead projects and process improvements initiatives.
- Proactively drive the UK/IRE SFE agenda to embed key Commex Processes with sales force.
Desired Profile:
- Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to reconcile external and internal data sources.
- Proven expertise in sophisticated data systems, Word, and PowerPoint, Outlook, is required. Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Data visualisation tool experience - Qlik, Tableau, PowerBi.
- Solid experience in Analytics within Medical Devices/Pharm with good understanding of healthcare market dynamics.
- Must be motivated, driven and able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a sophisticated environment where a high degree of teamwork is needed to deliver business results.
- Effective communication skills including presentation skills.
- High learning agility.
- Degree qualified – technical subject.
- Strong time management & organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise work & perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet timelines.
