We have an exciting and challenging role within our Mentor team as a Sales Specialist North and Midlands where you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the Breast Implant and reconstruction device business in the Public and Private sector.
Purpose of the role
As a Sales Specialist you are required to achieve agreed objectives and sales targets as outlined in the annual performance cycle. Within your allocated geographical region, you will interact and promote products to key customers and stakeholders in secondary care. You take the lead in managing your Plastic and Oncoplastic breast surgeons. You will manage consignment across your territory and collection of PO's for Mentor products. You manage your territory through the development of comprehensive business plans, focusing on high value opportunities to grow and develop new businesses. You manage and develop accounts and own clinical and commercial relationships, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to maximise impact of all activities driving growth. You ensure key insights from the external marketplace are appropriately shared internally to shape future business plans. You ensure competence in the Breast Reconstruction and Breast Augmentation focus areas and can effectively promote our product portfolio. You act as an ambassador for Johnson & Johnson MedTech aligned to our Credo.
Key areas of responsibility
- Account Planning: You analyse and interpret account strategies and plans utilizing key systems and data to gain a broad understanding of the business environment and insights into account needs. You develop, deploy and maintain tactical account business plans that align to business and customer objectives to deliver agreed objectives. You prepare appropriate plans to meet with customers to deliver on account plans and milestones.
- Selling: You build a strong network of relationships that enables the identification of mutually beneficial opportunities to sell key technologies in the surgical procedural environment. You present brand value propositions and value‐added customer solutions to positively influence buying behaviours.
- Professional Education and Marketing: You will have the opportunity to lead customer education activities. You will partner with Professional Education to develop and maintain associated KOL relationships as well as championing the effective use of the Company's comprehensive Professional Education offering.
- Clinical Expertise: You understand technical information pertinent to the procedure and product platform. You maintain up‐to‐date market and industry knowledge.

Education & Experience: Successfully navigate the secondary care and private sector environment. Proven successful track record in selling. Experience within aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery/oncoplastic Medical Devices sector would be great.
