Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes.

The International Spine & Biomaterials Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy for the Spine & Biomaterials portfolio across the International regions and growing our market presence. Reporting directly to the International Marketing Director Spine, this position is critical for implementing marketing initiatives that accelerate brand visibility and market penetration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for the Spine & Biomaterials portfolio, aligning with overall Global and regional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Campaign Activation & Management: Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and success.
  • Launch Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to assess marketing effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with sales, supply chain, finance, and medical affairs to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and key customers.
  • Training & Support: Become a product champion, supporting Commercial & Professional Education activities.

Experience and education:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Relevant Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Marketing Experience within the Orthopaedic sector.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability for analysing data and metrics to assess performance.

Experience & skills REQUIRED:

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to think critically and develop long-term strategies.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to collaborate and build rapport.
  • Adaptability: A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Presentation Skills: Capable of creating and delivering impactful presentations.

Work environment: ability to work with cadavers and within an operating room setting is required. Overall Travel expectations 40-50% across International Regions.
