Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Capacity planning for medical device manufacturing Value Stream. End to end management of the plan for Value streams. Work with a cross functional team across site to ensure products and services are received to site on time to plan. Primary contact for all suppliers, order placement, issue resolution. Accounts Payable supplier invoice issue resolution.
Roles and responsibilities
- Timely action of MRP messages to create PO’s for direct raw materials needed to support the site Manufacturing plan ensuring no stock outs.
- Ensure all purchasing specifications referenced on the MRP system are accurate and reflect the latest revision of the specification.
- Review and maintain the safety stock levels within the MRP system to reflect current usage and future forecast.
- Generate, maintain and communicate PP&L metrics to agreed timelines.
- Creation/refresh of plan monthly to ensure plan aligned with refreshed customer demand.
- Monitor over and under consumption and reset plan as required. Challenge significant swings with Demand Team as appropriate.
- Maintain a weekly capacity plan for manufacturing areas aligned with forecasted demand from customers. Gain commitment from the Ops team leaders to the plan.
- Challenge failures to hit plan and mediate solution with the Ops team that does not impact or compromise the customer. Timely escalation of issues where they cannot be addressed directly.
- Prevent customer service issues through effective management of plan and inventory. Pre-empt issues using forecast trend and MI.
- Trending and managing FG inventory aligned with site targets.
- Proactively provide ATP, Supply Commit and BO updates. Deployment of inventory based on customer need/allocation priorities.
- Project work as required.
Staff: Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, national, international and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Ensures that all activities are carried out in compliance with all regulations and laws governing business and quality operations.
How to succeed
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in a supply chain or purchasing environment.
- Experienced ERP / Planning Systems User, able to execute in an ERP System.
- Working with spreadsheets/data analysis.
- Minimum of Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Data mining skills through MS-Excel (or equivalent), strong organisation skills and an aptitude for planning.
- Accuracy with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions.
- Proactive approach.
- Persuading and influencing others.
- Can drive continuous process improvements.
- Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Able to work with limited supervision.
