Overview
In this Marketing Manager role, you drive the UK & Ireland Mechanical Stapling portfolio end-to-end and shape cross-portfolio colorectal and bariatric strategies. You translate insights into growth plans, lead product lifecycle activities, and partner with surgical communities to address clinical and system needs. You’ll work with cross-functional teams across commercial, clinical, medical, and market access to deliver in-market impact. The position offers ownership, variety, and the chance to influence two surgical specialties within a global healthcare leader.

Responsibilities
- Build and execute the UK Mechanical Stapling strategy using market, customer and competitor insights
- Own product lifecycle: positioning, segmentation, value propositions, launches, pricing, lifecycle planning
- Lead cross-portfolio Colorectal and Bariatric specialty strategies across the MedTech portfolio
- Develop relationships with surgeons, clinical teams, societies, and stakeholders to identify unmet needs and advocate market development
- Lead new product introductions using Launch Excellence principles from ideation to post-launch optimization
- Collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and regional/global marketing to align priorities
- Forecasting, inventory planning, pricing, and tender strategy with ROI-focused decision making
- Create omnichannel campaigns and customer solutions translating clinical/economic value into field tools
- Track performance, gather market intelligence, and adjust plans for profitable growth
- Influence sales through strategy, training, and field engagement
Key requirements
- Experience in product, portfolio, or strategic marketing within medical devices or regulated environments is advantageous
- Strong track record turning insights into strategy and execution
- Experience with product lifecycle management, launches, pricing, tenders, forecasting, or inventory planning
- Commercial judgement using data to prioritize investments
- Ability to build credibility with clinical and commercial stakeholders across functions
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
- Curiosity and learning agility in Mechanical Stapling and related surgical pathways
