Role Overview

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes. DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a UK & Ireland Commercial Capability Lead, located in Leeds, UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages other managers, supervisors and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, providing coaching and career development.
  • Communicates the direction of sales strategies throughout the sales lifecycle, from creating and maintaining Pricing & Contracting/Tendering strategy.
  • Coordinates the implementation of end-to-end Pricing and Contracting/Tender operational excellence designed to meet sales objectives.
  • Contributes to business growth opportunities by improving Pricing & Contracting/Tendering processes and strategic opportunities.
  • Implements continuous improvement and automation programs and generates performance metrics.
  • Acts as a key partner to the country Leadership Team, providing strategic decision-making support and coaching.
  • Establishes country/cluster pricing strategy including Floor Price frameworks and compliance governance.
  • Designs key performance indicators to measure the performance of Pricing & Contracting/Tendering departments.
  • Develops relationships with leaders and stakeholders to understand consumer priorities and identify capability gaps.
  • Manages operational aspects of teams including budget, performance, compliance, and workforce planning.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of DPS portfolio and process troubleshooting.
  • Experience in benchmark industry best practices for customer needs assessment.
  • Ability to lead in a matrix environment and manage multi-layered teams.
  • Expertise in Pricing, Contracting, and Tendering strategy.
