Johnson & Johnson MedTech | Orthopaedics are looking for a Clinical Account Specialist - Yorkshire and Tees.

About Orthopaedics: Motivated by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Our Orthopaedics teams help keep more than 6 million people moving each year while delivering clinical and economic value to surgeons and healthcare systems. Our teams build solutions for joint reconstruction; trauma and craniomaxillofacial; sports, extremities, and elective foot and ankle; spine; and robotics and digital surgery.

Purpose of the role: You will focus on building and managing relationships with healthcare providers, institutions, and the clinical teams that deliver care to patients such as surgeons and theatre teams. Maintaining our base business whilst driving growth across specified segments of the portfolio. The Clinical Account Manager plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between medical products and the healthcare professionals who use them through education, support and in-depth product and procedural knowledge.

What to expect:

  • To uncover new opportunities within the sports portfolio as aligned with the UK marketing strategy
  • Education and Training: Providing information and training about products, treatments, or services to healthcare professionals.
  • Support and Teamwork: Collaborating with medical staff to ensure the effective use of products or services.
  • Sales and Promotion: Assisting in sales efforts and promoting new products or clinical solutions.
  • Market Insight: Gaining feedback and insights from clinical settings to support product development and marketing strategies.

Who will you be working with: Reporting into the National Sales Manager, you will work closely with the following people:

  • Orthopaedic Surgeons
  • Theatre Staff
  • Sales team
  • Marketing team
  • Commercial team
  • Medical Education
  • Supply Chain/Logistics

Qualifications: Who are we looking for? To excel in this role, you will have experience of orthopaedics/sports medicine and shoulders, solid understanding of theatre environment and the NHS, proven experience in health sciences/anatomy and/or arthroscopy. A clinical qualification, e.g. ODP, RGN, Physiotherapy or a degree or equivalent in science/sports science/business/technology would be desirable.
