DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Financial Analyst, FP&A Intl Cluster 1, located in Leeds, United Kingdom. The Financial Analyst, FP&A Intl Cluster 1 plays a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across the International Cluster 1 organization. This role partners closely with commercial and operational leaders to provide financial insight, improve decision‑making, and support delivery of business objectives. The position offers strong exposure to international operations within a global MedTech environment and the opportunity to build core FP&A capabilities while contributing to business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles for International Cluster 1.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L results, variance analysis, and key performance indicators.
- Partner with commercial, supply chain, and functional stakeholders to understand performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support business initiatives, investments, and resource allocation decisions.
- Support month‑end close activities by reviewing results, explaining variances, and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting tools, and standard methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and governance requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (required). Master's degree or MBA (preferred).
Experience and Skills:
Required: Typically 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance role. Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting or planning systems. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, international environment.
Preferred: Experience supporting international or regional finance organizations. Exposure to MedTech, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Experience with financial modeling and business case development. Familiarity with ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar). Progress toward a professional finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CPA).
Other: Language: English (fluent). Additional European language skills are an advantage. Travel: Up to 10% international travel, as business needs require.
