About Orthopaedics: Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

We are searching for the best talent for a Line Facilitator role to be in Blackpool, United Kingdom!

Purpose: As a Line Facilitator, you will lead resources to add value to production operations whilst ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, quality and business systems. The role will be the catalyst for improvement in the performance of the production lines and drive operational excellence in the areas under their control.

As a Line Facilitator, you will:

  • Compliance: Be accountable for all aspects of GMP and Housekeeping within the work cell. Ensure equipment is operated as per procedures and JBS/JES. Be responsible for raising Non-conformances (NC’s). Raise awareness of all open NCs within work cell. Lead investigation of NCs, when initiated on shift and within Cell. Challenge all acts of non-compliance (H&S, WI, SOPs). Be responsible for zero errors on batch records/DHS/WO/Pressure Sheets etc.
  • Health and Safety: Be responsible for ensuring the correct PPE is worn. Raise awareness of EH&S. Escalate H&S issues to Value Stream Leader and relevant bodies. Ensure conformance with all H&S regulations within the workplace.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) numeracy and literacy.
  • Hands-on experience working under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) conditions to ensure compliant, traceable, and hygienic production processes in a regulatory environment.
  • Develop working relationships and ensure proactive communication with planning, stores, maintenance and quality control teams to maximize the areas safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Understands cycle time, monitors and escalates to Value Stream Leader (VSL) when cycle times deviate.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
