Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a BCT Associate. This hybrid position will be in Loughbeg, Ireland. Alternate hybrid locations may be considered at St. Anthony's Road, Leeds, UK. Please note that this role is available across multiple countries and may be posted under different requisition numbers to comply with local requirements.

This role plays a critical part in enabling the effective delivery of compliance within EMEA. As a Business Compliance Associate, you will provide guidance, review and approvals of business activities, ensuring that all activities are conducted in line with Health Care Compliance (HCC) requirements. Acting as a trusted partner, you will support HCP engagements, contracting, payments and compliance processes by delivering practical guidance, approvals and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Business Compliance Specialist and Senior Specialist.
  • Act as a key point of contact for event compliance, contracts, and payments; maintain auditable records for all process stages.
  • Guide, review, and approve business requests.
  • Prepare, draft and review contracts using approved templates, systems and processes.
  • Ensure all activities are fully compliant, with appropriate documentation and approvals in place prior to execution.
  • Support the delivery and integrity of transparency reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery.
  • Deliver ad-hoc training to the business as required.
  • Support HCP/GO travel and accommodation processes, in line with company policy and local requirements, where applicable and in accordance with the agreed operating model.
  • Process and submit PO’s and accurate payments in a timely manner, where applicable.
  • Participate in business discussions to provide Business Compliance expertise and execution of business activities.
  • Communicate clearly across a diverse and geographically distributed stakeholder group.
  • Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders and provide timely guidance on compliance processes and requirements.
  • Support onboarding of new team members.
  • Report and escalate issues as appropriate, to the Senior Specialist and in line with team governance and escalation pathways.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ administration experience, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred (e.g. Business, Life Sciences or related field).

Experience and Skills – Required:

  • Strong IT and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities constructively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to audit-quality standards.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and working within defined processes.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative and coordination skills.
  • Proactively manages workload and priorities.
  • Ability to deal with flexible workload and ambiguity is essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

Experience and Skills – Preferred:

  • 2-3 years’ Health Care industry experience.
  • Experience in customer service, stakeholder support, or a customer-facing role, with strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Educated to Higher Education, or equivalent caliber – desirable.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Limited travel within EMEA may be required.
  • Compliance or legal certifications are beneficial but not required.
